Job Description/Duties:

Zedi is recruiting aTechnical Business Analyst , for its Calgary office. As a key member of the Business Analysis Team, the ideal candidate will be skilled in oil and gas upstream operations, requirements gathering, creating detailed documentation and technical aspects of web application development.

This full-time role will be responsible for:

Communicating with clients to understand, document and analyze their workflow processes as well as elicit requirements.
Creating and / or collaborating on UML design artifacts.
Reviewing requirements and developed solutions with stakeholders to ensure acceptance and understanding of new features.
Working with project managers and developers to guarantee that all requirements are delivered as specified.
Working with Quality Assurance staff to ensure accurate application testing.
Applying software and database skills to solutions for interactive, web based applications
Qualifications:

Minimum 2 ? 3 years in a business or systems analyst role
Minimum 2 ? 4 years developing custom software for web based applications
Minimum 2 ? 4 years of SQL experience
Experience with use case identification and modeling
Experience with Business Modeling
Experience developing system test cases
Strong analytical and communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills
Computer or Information Science degree or diploma
Oil and gas domain knowledge in upstream production operations is an asset
BA certification or enrollment in a recognized BA program would be an asset
