Yes Date Posted 07/31/2008 Closing Date [link removed] (Things you should know about closing dates) 10/27/2008 Position Description International Tax Project Manager with multiple international income tax responsibilities associated with the company's foreign operations. The individual will be part of the Corporate Tax Department of The Boeing Company. Responsibilities include work with the business units on planning projects as the various operations move into new countries, structure activities to minimize US and local country taxes, manage the foreign tax compliance to ensure compliance with applicable laws, and assist with the US tax provision and compliance. This person will work closely with the Assistant Director of International Tax, outside consultants, other tax team members, financial/cost accountants, human resources and others to implement planning ideas and to ensure the accuracy of U.S. international and foreign income tax reporting. The candidate must have strong verbal and written communication skills, be able to work as part of a team and have exceptional documentation/organization skills. International tax experience and the ability to work on multiple projects at the same time are required. Excellent analytical skills are a must, including the ability to research, summarize findings and develop conclusions and recommendations on various tax issues. The individual should be able to work without appreciable direction. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word is required.
