Job Description
As part of the Controller’s team, be responsible for two accountants, and communicate across all business segments. Key responsibilities will include daily accounting including inter-company and B/S reconciliations to assisting on monthly financial close and business metrics reporting. Due to number of reporting locations, prepare financial reports, analysis, and summaries on fixed assets and expenses. Going forward, participate and/or lead process improvement and special projects. Examples will vary from further centralization of field accounting to Connecticut, the implementation of new software module to support H/R & P/R, and the integration of acquisitions. Controller wants a hands-on and promotable contributor who wants to learn the business and get behind the numbers to understand reasons that drive the numbers and the processes that impact accounting.

Candidate Qualifications

Mandatory Minimum Qualifications
BS Accounting required; MBA, CMA or CPA a plus. Seek 4 years of either CPA or financial accounting experience with a multi-location business. Must have strong accounting software skills and strong references.
