Description:

One of the largest, non-profit health care systems in the country with hospitals, long-term care centers and an array of other services is seeking:

Physician revenue management system director$110k base along with bonus and relocation package provided. This position directs a system centralized physician billing office of 100 plus FTEs, that currently bills for approximately 30 clinics and 350 providers in five states, with expectations to grow to 1,000 providers in the next two years. Achieves designated reimbursement goals for the system through the efficient management of billing, credit and collections, refund processing, and physician compliance functions for Billing Services. Position will be located in Greeley, CO.

Minimum Qualifications:

Requires a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent professional experience.
Requires a management skill level typically achieved in five or more years of physician accounts receivable management, claims adjudication, and revenue management.
Experience should include large, complex multi-specialty environments.
Must have a proven ability to successfully apply credit and collection laws, and a thorough knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid/AHCCCS regulations and third party payor practices to maximize reimbursement.
Requires sound analytical skills, knowledge of accounting principles, and familiarity with third party payor contractual negotiations, as well as a working knowledge of information systems.
Must possess organizational and leadership skills and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Must be able to plan, direct and coordinate the work of others. The incumbent must be skilled in applying principles of relationship management, human resources administration, strategic planning and financial management.


Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or CPA preferred.
