Business Analyst (#1469)

These client-focused roles will be responsible for performing various functional/analytical tasks as part of a team supporting business transformation either thru process improvement or leveraging technology. As an integral member of our PMO, these professionals are responsible for the analysis of business and user requirements for the Association's business processes as well as, software system requirements.

Day-to-day you will partner with internal clientele, fellow Team members, and other key staff to map processes and document user and functional system requirements. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to make a substantial and positive impact upon the Team and indeed the organization at large ? it's a lot of fun, highly visible, and challenging!

Qualifications:

0-2 yrs experience

· Experience in a consulting environment preferred. Experience in the business operations of medical schools and/or academic health centers desirable

· Experience in Use Case diagramming, Business Process Mapping, Sequence and Activity diagramming, UI prototyping andUML

· Must be able to work independently as well as be a key contributor to a project team.

· Excellent oral and written communication skills required

· Critical thinking, analytical, and rapport-building skills are essential

· Proficiency in Visio, Rational Rose, or equivalent, and MS Office

· Bachelor's degree; Master's/MBA a plus

· A polished, professional approach is key
