Description:

Mid-sized, privately owned construction company which has been in business for over 50 years is looking for an assistant controller $70 to $90k.

This person will assist in monthly close process, including preparation, review, and analysis of monthly financial statements. Person will perform account reconciliations and detailed analysis of financial information. Position interacts will all levels of management. Provides routine and ad hoc reporting and analysis. Assists with year end audit and annual budget preparation.

Construction industry a plus. Strong Excel skills required. JD Edwards software a plus. Inventory Accounting as the client maintains their own inventory.

BS in Accounting or Finance and CPA, six to eight years experience. Supervisor 2 Senior Accountants,2 Jr Accountants, AP supervisor, AR supervisor. Someone who is hands on and has intellectual curiousity, heavily relied on for information for Operations information. Communication skills, systems emphasis- Power User and Strong Excel, Report Writers ? SOX Requirements.
